Angel Falls

Angel Falls is the highest waterfall in the world. Angel Falls is situated at the Guayana highlands, in Venezuela. You get the breathtaking experience of watching the free fall water falling from the height of around 980 meters. The water falls from the largest table mountain Auyantepuy from the Churum River. The highest waterfall is around 15 times higher than the globally renowned Niagara Falls of the United States. The water falls is named after the adventurer Jimmy Angel, who discovered the falls.

Travellers can enjoy visiting the gigantic admirable Angel falls by two ways. They can consider taking a small air plane and capture the breathtaking views of the highest falls. Alternatively they can prefer for a mini excursion running through Carrao River, followed by Churum River and through the dense green forest, where you can reach the base of the Angel falls. This excursion takes around three to four hours to reach the falls.

Canaima National Park in Venezuela is the entrance of the Angel falls. Even though there are numerous other lagoons and falls are available for the travellers to visit from Caniama national park, majority of the visitors of the Canaima camp, fly here exclusive for visiting the Angel falls.
